Colors In Motion DVD Featured at Planetree Hospitals Annual Conference

DeHart Paintings Create Colors In Motion for Meg Brooker’s Dance Performance

Ten of Linda DeHart’s watercolor paintings set the stage for performances of “Sky,” by Meg Brooker, composed in fulfillment of her MFA in Performance as Public Practice at the University of Texas, Austin. The paintings were digitally scanned and projected to a width of 24' as a backdrop for Brooker’s dance performance. “The paintings suggested a permanence to Meg’s dance, as if her solo, along with the paintings and the sky itself, would live past the conclusion of the performance,” wrote the UT Austin PPP blog, “Performance in Progress”.
