While dry cleaning is recommended, you may choose to hand wash. Use Ivory Liquid (do not use Woolite) with warm water. For added softness, use Downy Fabric Softener. (Dilute in warm rinse water, and then add the silk.) Lightly squeeze out excess water. Smoothe out flat on towel. Pat dry with another towel. Hang til slightly damp. Iron on the wrong side with a medium setting. Use only minimal deodorants when wearing the silks. Remove any spots with JanieClean oil and grease remover made of chalk.
